About me

My name is Sarah Hänggi and I have been conducting choirs for over 15 years. I studied choral conducting and school music in Basel (BA + MA) and Düsseldorf (MA), and furthered my studies in numerous masterclasses and private training courses with renowned choral conductors.
Over all these years I have worked with amateur choirs, professional ensembles, youth choirs and singers in the fields of classical music, contemporary music, a cappella and musical theatre.
What has influenced me most is the realization that great choral conducting consists at its core of communication, presence and clarity, and of the ability to create an atmosphere in which a choir can truly come alive.
The Choral Conductor Lab is built precisely on this: real experience, practical tools and a clear path for choir conductors who want to grow musically and personally.
Whether you've just taken over your first choir or already have experience, here you'll find resources, tools, and training opportunities for practical choir conducting.
